Winter Wine Weekend is held during the Queens Birthday long weekend in June every year. Winter Wine Weekend is made up of two parts:
1. Winter Wine Fest - Saturday only (ticketed event) at Red Hill Showground
2. Cellar Door activities and events - all Weekend at participating Cellar Doors
The opening event of the weekend is the Winter Wine Fest (Saturday only 11am - 4pm), held at the Red Hill Showground is an exhibition and tasting which traditionally marks the beginning of the extensive Winter Wine Weekend program. One place on one day all under cover where you can taste more than 200 premium wines from around 50 wineries.

Mornington Peninsula Pinot producers will gather by the sea at our annual Labour Day weekend showcase to taste a range of Pinots along with local fine food and music. A wonderful range of wines are available to taste - or to buy a glass to enjoy along with a seaside lunch. The annual Piers & Pinots Yacht Race is also held on the day - race report from Flinders Yacht Club
Mornington Peninsula Piers & Pinots is held at Flinders foreshore. Each ticket includes a complimentary Riedel tasting glass, tasting notes and all wine tastings between 12noon - 3pm. Picnic style food will be available for purchase also.

Shiraz does it again! At the Annual Mornington Peninsula Vignerons Association Wine Show, our Merricks Estate 2015 Shiraz took out the 'Chairman of the Judges Selection Award'. Something to look forward too.
Our Merricks Estate 2013 Pinot Noir took out the TOP SILVER MEDAL in the Sydney Royal Wine Show. Outstanding considering there were 2,330 entries.
